PADI Discover Scuba Course
What Will We Teach You?
The PADI discover scuba diving class is a hour long in a pool and is a great choice for kids parties and youth groups.
You will learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to scuba dive under the direct supervision of a PADI professional instructor. If you make an open water dive, you’ll practice a few more skills in shallow water to prepare for your adventure:
- Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear.
- Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater.
- Learn key skills that you’ll use during every scuba dive.
- Have fun swimming around and exploring.
- Hear about becoming a certified diver through the PADI Open Water Diver course.
- How can you start learning now?
Contact Us to sign up for a Discover Scuba Diving program and get a Discover Scuba Diving Participant Guide. Your instructor will explain the experience and let you pre-study the safety rules and techniques before reviewing them with you. You’ll also learn about opportunities to become part of the scuba community after you complete your underwater experience.
Start An Adventure With Us
Have you ever wondered what it is like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, the Discover Scuba Diving class is for you. This class is for kids, youth groups, and adults. Access Scuba’s certified PADI instructors offer this class in a pool.
Our PADI instructors understand that it may be scary to learn how to scuba dive, so they will teach the class as slow as you would like the first time. The PADI Discover Scuba Diving class is not a scuba certification course; the Discover Scuba Diving class is great for kids or adults for a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.
To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving class, kids must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.
What Scuba Gear Will You Use?
Your instructor will likely provide all the basic scuba gear you’ll use including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, dive gauges and a tank.
Visit us today to learn more about the gear you will need to start your adventures in Discover Scuba Diving.
