Access Scuba and the SSI Certification is the only way to get certified to scuba in Southern Utah!! Dan and his team are the best and know how to treat people right. They work around your schedule and make it so comfortable for any skill level. I was able to get open water certified in just two weeks!!! My husband and I debated long and hard on whether to scuba certify locally or at a vacation destination. Ultimately, with family advice and with very reasonable pricing, we decided to certify with Access Scuba.Seriously best choice ever. Dan, our instructor and subsequently the owner or Access Scuba, was a phenomenal instructor. Our scuba group had a big range of ages (10 yr olds through 50+ ) and he instructed everyone really well. 100% satisfied with our experience and can't wait to be able to now go on a vacation and just enjoy the scuba diving.

From the try scuba class with Brad, til the very end of getting certified with Shelby, the experience with access scuba was awesome! I didnt shop around for prices or reviews. I took the word of my cousins to go through access scuba. I wasnt disappointed. Everything as fsr as price goes seemed reasonable. The certification included gear so it was nice not to have to worry about that. Shelby worked with our schedules which made things easy and convienant for us. Thanks Dan for the awesome crew you have, from the shop crew to the instructors and assistant instructors. I will be back for more classes.

Very friendly people! Rented wetsuits for the Narrows at Zion for much cheaper than the $60 packages at the park. Worked very well.

We rented canyoneering gear for a hike through the narrows. The gear was high-quality and way cheaper than the stores around Zion, and everybody was super nice and helpful!

We love working with Dan & all his staff at Access Scuba! 3 years ago, they helped certify our three daughters which was a fantastic experience. Our 11-year-old did so well and learned to be such a safe diver. At the Midway Crater, Dan's wife gave the most incredible attention to our 11-year-old. We were so impressed!Also, we have been able to take 2 amazing Scuba dive trips with Access Scuba to Turneffe Island, Belize & Moorea, Tahiti. The trips and travel were set up & handled very well. The diving was excellent, and the company was a blast!

Let me preface this by saying that I have been terrified of drowning since adulthood. So as one does, my partner & I booked a scuba dive on our upcoming trip lol we decided it would be a good idea to get certified beforehand & set some dates with Access Scuba. From the first phone call, Sydney was so enthusiastic about diving & was able to work out some time for us to train, even with our crazy schedules & tight timeline. She was so sweet & really got us hyped about taking on the endeavor. Dan was our instructor & I couldn’t have asked for better! He was extremely relaxed and personable, very understanding and patient with my fears, but also honest when it came to having to overcome them. When I learned that Dan had over 4000 dives under his belt, I realized that we were in great hands. It took me a couple of sessions to become comfortable with trusting the gear, and had to do some practicing at home to get used to water being on my face/near my nose. After four pool dives, I was able to crush it at our final sessions in Midway Crater! Talk about a 180, now all I can think about is diving, learning more skills, & getting back in the water! Currently working on convincing my parents to learn so that I have a reason to dive more! I don’t think this would have been possible with any other instructor. I never thought I would do something like this & especially not in the desert of all places haha Thank you so much Dan!!

Access Scuba has everything that you need to start and advance your scuba diving journey. My partner and I signed up for the course and Dan was accommodating in finding dates and times that worked well for us. In less than a month we went from clueless to diving to depths of 60 ft confidently and comfortably.Also the gear that Access Scuba provides is of great quality and consistently reliable.

If you’re wanting to get scuba certified Dan is hands down the best guy for the job! He is incredibly qualified and will help you every step of the way. He will go at your pace and makes the entire experience fun! I had hesitations about diving and Dan made me feel comfortable and helped me gain the confidence I needed. Dan and his team are the best! They were so attentive to every detail of the certification process. A great choice for scuba!! My husband and I and 2 of our kids all wanted to get certified before our trip to Hawaii and Dan made sure that happened with plenty of time to spare so there was no stress at all. We were comfortable in the pool and lake and they taught us everything we needed to know and we were happy with all of the instructors. Very highly recommend!!

GO THROUGH ACCESS SCUBA THEYRE AMAZING!!! I had the greatest experience! The people were extremely accommodating and kind! Dan and all of his instructors are very knowledgeable about the diving, equipment and what to dos!We very ambitiously signed up 3 weeks before a trip to California and told them we wanted to finish ASAP and they got us in the pool 2 days later! It was amazing and I felt so safe the entire time!!I wish I could give them more then 5 stars! The entire experience was amazing!

There was a mishap with the gear rented to me, but they did a great job resolving it. Mistakes sometimes happen what matters most to me is how well they are taken care of. I even found my new favorite (flippers) Mares x-stream fins. Hopefully I can make it out to dive agean soon.

Dan and his team are incredible! My husband and I both got open water diver certified. We worked with Cade and Vanessa too. They are all so great to work with and so knowledgeable. They helped us comfortable and confident as we were learning our new skills underwater. If you are thinking about taking a scuba class definitely do it!! My husband bought me an open water scuba certification class for Christmas. I was really nervous to learn scuba diving because I had previously taken a “try scuba” class at a different place and I panicked and could not do it. I decided to give it a try, and was happily surprised at how well I was taught. Dan was the instructor, and he made me feel very comfortable with not being able to do the different skills first try (or second, or even tenth). He let me get comfortable with being underwater and breathing and had faith that I would get every single skill. He was patient and encouraging, and never gave up on me. I had a lot of problems while flooding or removing my mask. I would inhale the water and start choking. I tried multiple times to get it, but just couldn’t seem to keep from panicking and choking. Dan showed me some tricks to keeping the bubble in my nose to keep from choking. He let me dive many times until I was comfortable flooding my mask or removing it and then replacing it and clearing it. I was SO happy when I finally learned the skill and could do it without any anxiety at all. I got my certification without any trouble at all. I can’t wait for my first diving trip. Saying thank you to Dan does not seem like enough. He is awesome!!!! I would recommend him and Access Scuba to anyone who wants to learn to scuba dive, and especially if you have any fear of diving.

Dan at access scuba Is amazing! I am so happy that we found Dan. I was super nervous about scuba diving, my husband was excited. Dan sat with me and made sure I understood as I couldn’t get my app to go into imperial mode from metric. I recommend anyone who wants to certify in scuba go threw Dan at Access Scuba. I have a few more certifications in my sights that I will be using Dan to get. Happy bubbles!!

Classified Diving is more commonly known as Adaptive Diving. We are able to certify the following: wheelchair-bound, amputees, traumatic brain injuries, spinal, paralysis, and more. We are excited to be able to extend the freedom of the underwater world to a new demographic of the public who may have thought this would be impossible.
